Introduction

Currently there are 2452 Peace & Justice Organizations identified in this information system - these organizations represent 65 countries / cultures around the world.  It is assumed that this list represents a small fraction of the organizations involved in some form of Peacemaking.  

The majority of these organization function independently - i.e. they are not members of a Team of Peacemakers, or part of network of similar organizations, nor do they collaborate regularly with other Peace & Justice organizations.  

This lack of Teamwork, Collaboration and Networking results in a disjointed, divisive, and generally ineffective Peace Industry.  Effective alternatives to military struggle are too complex for any single person or organization to develop alone - collaboration and networking will be required as demonstrated by any other successful industry.   

Although there is a lot of room for improvement, there does appear to be tremendous potential for the Peace Industry to evolve into a positive partner with the Military Industry, as well as business, health care, entertainment and government. more...
