Search by Key Issues

Key Issues of Peacemaking.

Organizations can be characterized by the "Key Issues" they address in their peacemaking services and programs.

In an effort to link up with the proposed U.S. Department of Peace and Nonviolence (DoPN), we have compiled a list of the "key issues" defined in the pending legislation (House Resolution 808 and Senate TBD). This list of key DoPN issues can be used as a "benchmark" for cataloging Peace and Justice Organizations.

Search by Key Issues.

Given a specific Key Issue, it is possible to search the Findapeacemaker database and identify organizations that deal with the issue in their peacemaking services and programs.
First select a Key Issue from the list, then check the "Resources" you want to search:
a) DoPN Office(s) responsible for that "key issue" or
b) Organizations that currently address this Key issue in their daily operations, or
c) Members of U.S. Congress who have expressed an interest in this key issue and are working actively at the National level.

Next select the "Scope" of the desired Search, then click on "Search by Key Issue. "
