(NGOs) involved in conflict management and peacemaking. This
site focuses on characterizing the organizations. The goal is
to define their role in the peace industry, describe the fundamental
services each organization provides, and identify how organizations

Because the organizations within the peace industry are islands of
Peacemaking, it is important to identify how each organization collaborates
with the rest of the peace industry. Networking is an indication
of such collaboration and teamwork. The peace industry could
be much more effective if there were more bridges between these islands
of Peacemaking.
