Registering as a Virtual Editor

Before you can add a new Peace & Justice organization to the find a Peacemaker.com information system (or edit the information for an existing entry) , you must register and obtain a Password for access to the database.   It is easy to register.   Just provide the basic information requested in the form below.

Signing up only takes a moment.  When you become an Editor, you can help us extend and update the information in this Peacemaker database, thereby making it more useful for yourself and others. The personal information requested below will not be used for any other purpose than to identify who is helping our Team of 27 "Virtual Editors" maintain this information system.

Select one of three Editor options:
1) Contributing Editor - to add new Peace & Justice organizations to the information system, or
2) Site Editor - to update the information in the database for a particular organization / site, or
3) General Editor - to add organizations and/or update information for multiple organizations / sites

Contributing Editor Guidelines

Organizations listed in the Peace & Justice database are important because they "add value" to the Peace Industry in a variety of ways.  It is important to clearly identify those organizations that are working constructively to develop and implement effective alternatives to military struggle.

 As a "Contributing Editor" you can help identify / recommend additional Peace & Justice Organizations.  As a minimum, please provide the Organization's name and Website address where we can find out more details about the organization.

If you can, please provide any additional information about the organization that will help make the information system more useful.  Otherwise a "Site Editor" will fill in these details. A few simple guidelines are offered if you wish to provide additional information about the Organization:
  1. Identify additional contact Information for the Organization, e.g. Email address, Phone, Fax, Personal Contact,...
  2. Describe briefly the organization's Mission/Goals/Objectives
  3. Define the "Role" of this organization within the Peace Industry as best you can.  Several methods of "Categorizing" the organization are proved.
  4. Identify key Resources (Services/Products/Programs/Projects/Initiatives/Information, etc.) provided by this organization.   If the generic Resource is not contained in the Master List, please add it.
